Introduction
The origins of the John Device began over 40 years ago, and this specific design, 18 years ago. The inventor/discoverer, David W. John, had planned on having the system built by a machine shop and having engineering assistance. After an extended period of unemployment, David finally decided to build the device on his own, with virtually no resources except for support from his parents. The system as shown, therefore, should not be considered the "ultimate" expression of the technology, by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, as described below, it is not only simply a POC (Proof Of Concept) device, but it is a POC of a first generation-type of system that generally won't be used in the real World except as a demonstrator of the technology and idea. (just like it is right now)
Introduction to CVRP Technology by The John Device
CVRP Technology, or Continually Variable Rotating Plane Technology is what allows The John Device to seemingly bend the "laws" of physics, etc. Everyone knows that you can't make usable force/energy/power/whatever from Gravity, because sooner or later, no matter what technique you use or what game you think you're playing, you'll have to "go back uphill." Period. End of discussion. If you're intelligent, you won't even keep talking further. Sorry, but it's been tried for a thousand years by hundreds of thousands of people, many of whom were undoubtedly super-duper geniuses, etc.
As pointed out in various videos, The John Device doesn't move any mass. It moves THE HILL, and the relationship between Mother Earth and the masses/weights (Gravity) causes them to rotate. Stop killing yourself pushing all those weights around... let somebody else who's bigger do that for you. You just need to direct the show... manage the masses, as it were.
By changing (rotating) the plane (the "hill") that the masses/weights are attached to, they constantly try to "fall" to the Earth. As they do so, the plane/hill continues to change, driven by the top motor arrangement. In doing so, the masses/weights turn the torque shaft, endlessly, because they NEVER STOP FALLING.
One of the important considerations is that the generator and/or speed multiplier/reducer is directly connected to the torque shaft. In a "Gravity" only based system, it can be below the system, as constructed on the original John Device, or it could be above the system, as shown in the graphic in the section "GV-1b, GV-1000".

GV-1 (Gravity, Version 1)
This GV-1 (Gravity, Version 1) technology is quite simple - and was selected specifically because of it's simplicity. It's difficult enough for people to "get over" the idea of a Gravity powered device such as The John Device.
In this example, it only has mass on one side of the torque shaft.
At the bottom are two rectangles that represent a speed multiplier/reducer and an electrical generator. Again, their direct connection to the torque shaft is one of the important aspects of the design of the John Device.

This GV-1 (Gravity, Version 1) technology is quite simple - and was selected specifically because of it's simplicity. It's difficult enough for people to "get over" the idea of a Gravity powered device such as The John Device.

GV-1b, GV-1000
The original GV-1 concept, which is single-sided, proved quite funtional, and with the exclusively designed and exquisitely hand crafted hypocycloid top gear, was able to prove the initial Proof Of Concept (POC), facilitating further research and development into particular angles and loads placed on the torque shaft.
It's important for anyone to understand at this point is that a balanced mass can be scaled infinitely. The patent pending John Device is essentially only "stirring" the difference in mass, which takes almost no effort, hence the extremely low Watts used. Some might think: "Hah! And that's the power you'll get out!"
The next key thing people need to understand is the following phrase: "Weightless, NOT Massless."
By balancing the constructs on the torque shaft, their WEIGHT (mass of an object on Earth) balances. We're all familiar with strange effects of weights and pendulums and other things when they're balanced. They seem easy to control... lighter, somehow.
Well, they are... because you've eliminated their WEIGHT (mass of an object on Earth).
I remember as a child, riding a teeter totter...
But, if one person suddenly gets off the teeter totter...
Hmmm. The other person seemed incredibly light just a second ago.
Weightless... NOT Massless. Perhaps painfully so.
Simply put, the John Device can be designed to power a house, or a building, or a block, or a city. Simply add more mass and make it bigger. As pointed out elsewhere, the only limitation of implementing the technologies of the John Device are Mankind's limits.
Scalability as a term does not imply direction, so instead of just scaling "up", you need to consider scaling "down." Later generations (GV-4 and beyond) will power mobile devices that currently operate on batteries or "wall outlets".

GV-2 Technology extends the capabilties of the Gravity-Powered original John Device by adding additional "force" to be redirected. This additional force is obtained through the use of Permanent Magnet and traditional ferritic-type magnetic technology. These traditional technologies are well-developed and well-understood and have one very nice feature - magnetic substances (like Iron) generally are very heavy... i.e. have a large mass relative to their volume.
Now, let's back up for a moment...
The John Device ALREADY loves mass - the more the merrier. More mass just means more torque applied to the torque shaft to generate more electricity or whatever. So, you could add more mass, and ALSO have that mass provide additional force and capability to the system, with absolutely no negative aspects.
Needless to say, there are a variety of configurations which may be used separately or together to cause great increases in the amount of "force" driving the CVRP (Continuously Variable Rotating Plane) Technology of The John Device. Because of their complexity of design and manufacture, however, they will be produced by Affiliates and Owner/Affiliates of Torque, Incorporated, who has the exclusive rights to license the technologies of the John Device.
